Time Card Summary

This dashboard was created to answer a posted question: How to create a measure that would derive an employee’s overtime on a daily basis as well as on a weekly basis. The time card was set up in an Excel spreadsheet. Using Power Query to get the data and to transform the data. The columns needed to be transposed, and a few other changes were made and saved as a query. The measure that solved this issue used a SUMX () function that iterated through the table, and an IF () function that checked for OT on a daily basis. This was then posted to Power BI and displayed as two matrices, a clustered column chart (with eight hours line marked,) and two slicers to allow the bookkeeper to zero in on an employee or day of the week.
